Raigad was formerly called the Kolaba district the district was renamed after Raigad, the fort that was the former capital of the Maratha leader Shivaji Maharaj, and is located in the interior regions. Enjoy rope way to visit Raigad fort.  Many of them go by walking through a small village near by through steps. Visit Idol of Golden Ganesh at Diveaagar and evening enjoy the beach at Shreevardhan. Harihareshwar Temple is one of the Oldest temple amongst Maharashtra and well known for Dakshin Kashi . A Holy shrine of Lord Shiva Temple right on the Beach. Very Calm & Blissful atmosphere .

Morning depature from Mumbai. Diveaagar : Unique Golden idol of Ganpati known as Ganesh of Diveaagar. Shreewardhan, – A place with inborn beauty known for its temple. Harihareshwar famous as Dakshin Kashi. Stay at Shreewardhan. (BLD)

Raigad Fort - Mumbai

Raigad Fort : The Gibraltar of the East Rairi hill near Mahad – selected as the preferable capital by shahaji Bhosale father of Shivaji Maharaj and also used for the Samadhi of Shivaji Maharaj. Night arrival at Dadar. (BL)

We were group of 55 peoples. Konkan paryatan ( Mr.Mulik sir) took care of each and everyone.Hotel was good 150 mtrs away from beautyfull tarkarli sea. Food was tasty, except lunch served at gajanan annexe on 2nd day of our tour.
